The Ribcage White Stripes T-Shirt
This was requested by a follower. (Yeah, you guys can do that, ya know ;P)
This White Stripes T-Shirt has been on the website for several years. It features a white ribcage made of buttons and a red heart. “The White Stripes” is written at the base of the spine. It is also across the back shoulders. One of my favorite features of this shirt is the big peppermint White Stripes tag. I just thought that was a really cool little feature.
I bought this shirt at the store in Nashville. It used to be a tour-only shirt. It’s still available for purchase on the White Stripes’ website. It’s extremely soft and comfy too!! Makes a great birthday/Chrismahanukwanzaa gift
Whatever Wednesday is a post that highlights a non-Third Man band or artist.
The first Whatever Wednesday didn’t seem to get many hits. Should I keep it? Or nix it?
Please like this post to tell me you like Whatever Wednesday or send me a message with your opinion or ideas.
Thanks!!

School started and I have a TON of homework every night. I hope to make some new entries tomorrow to go up at the regular times. Thank you all for sticking with the blog. Just bear with me if something is a day or two late.I’m trying as hard as I can to put aside some time for this apart from my school work.
Much Love!

Lanie Lane Blue Series 7”
Released August 23rd
This marks the first Whatever Wednesday where I highlight a non-TMR band or artist that isn’t really in the public eye yet.
This week’s band is Hail the Villain.

Hail The Villain is a hard rock band from Ontario, Canada. They formed in the early 2000’s and are on Roadrunner Records. They have released only one album titled Population: Declining.
The band is made up of artists. Their website and videos are filled with animation and story lines. Their site is set up like an interactive comic book.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them in concert on 2010’s Rockstar Uproar Tour between the Halestorm Meet and Greet and the main stage show beginning. From the few songs I stayed to watch I could see they were a high energy band with fast, catchy songs. Frontman Bryan Crouch held the audience’s attention the whole way through. Their music is perfect for athletes or other musicians or road trips. Any time you need some loud pump-up music.
Look up Hail The Villain and tell me what you think. :)
Got a request for another Whatever Wednesday? Submit it!
astronomydomino asked: I saw your collection and my heart skipped a beat! Can you tell us a bit about the skeleton shirt with the heart, please?
Of course! I’ll make it the Item Spotlight for next week!!
Thank you very much :)

Another Way to Die - Jack White & Alicia Keys 45
Jack White and Alicia Keys teamed up to write and record the theme song for the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. This 7” record is printed on gorgeous gold, transparent vinyl. The A Side has the recording of the song and the B Side is the the song’s instrumental without vocals.
I really love the aesthetic of this record. The sleeve looks really cool and the record itself is gorgeous. The picture below is the silhouette of the record against my window.
I also really enjoy the song! Jack wrote it, sings, and plays guitar and drums. Alicia plays piano and sings. Although I do believe I read somewhere that in the actual recording Jack plays all the instruments, but Alicia plays in the music video. That could be wrong, so if anyone knows for sure please correct me.
This record should still be available at the TMR store. If it is, you should totally get it.
