The Ribcage White Stripes T-Shirt

This was requested by a follower. (Yeah, you guys can do that, ya know ;P)

This White Stripes T-Shirt has been on the website for several years. It features a white ribcage made of buttons and a red heart. “The White Stripes” is written at the base of the spine. It is also across the back shoulders. One of my favorite features of this shirt is the big peppermint White Stripes tag. I just thought that was a really cool little feature.

I bought this shirt at the store in Nashville. It used to be a tour-only shirt. It’s still available for purchase on the White Stripes’ website. It’s extremely soft and comfy too!! Makes a great birthday/Chrismahanukwanzaa gift

This is an absolute classic. One of the first interviews of The Dead Weather. Obviously, it’s a skit, but it’s so funny!! All four members are hysterical!

Another Way to Die - Jack White & Alicia Keys 45

Jack White and Alicia Keys teamed up to write and record the theme song for the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace. This 7” record is printed on gorgeous gold, transparent vinyl. The A Side has the recording of the song and the B Side is the the song’s instrumental without vocals.

I really love the aesthetic of this record. The sleeve looks really cool and the record itself is gorgeous. The picture below is the silhouette of the record against my window.

I also really enjoy the song! Jack wrote it, sings, and plays guitar and drums. Alicia plays piano and sings. Although I do believe I read somewhere that in the actual recording Jack plays all the instruments, but Alicia plays in the music video. That could be wrong, so if anyone knows for sure please correct me.

This record should still be available at the TMR store. If it is, you should totally get it.

Portland, Oregon - Loretta Lynn ft. Jack White

In honor of Van Lear Rose’s re-release on Third Man, I chose this song right here. I really love this collaboration. The kissing is a little awkward, ;), but overall a great song and video.

Didn’t want this to become a Kills blog even though we all love them.
If you get all these you’re my best friend haha :)
Every letter is based on a White Stripes song lyric or title or album name. Feel free to leave some guesses or answers in my ask :)

Now available on Third Man Records:

Loretta Lynn’s Van Lear Rose!!

The colored vinyl is absolutely stunning.

Van Lear Rose was originally released in 2004 by Interscope records. As many of us know, Jack White produced the whole album and performed in several songs. The backing ensemble also featured our beloved Raconteurs, Patrick Keeler, LJ Lawrence, and Brendan Benson.

In honor of the Third Man re-release, they are hosting a contest on their Facebook page called the Blue Rose Beauty Pageant. I all ready have an idea for my entry :) Get the ideas flowing and don’t forget to pick up Loretta Lynn’s Van Lear Rose now on Third Man Records!
